Windsor County Court March 18


The following people pleaded not guilty to DUI charges:

Jeffrey Leblanc, DOB 1/21/70, his first, in Hartford on March 8

Heather Leblanc, DOB 2/1/71, her first, in Hartford on March 8

Nate Poole, DOB 4/15/77, his first, in Bethel on March 7

Gary Merrill, DOB 2/27/43, his first, in Bethel on March 6

Robert McFadden, DOB 7/17/69, his second, in Bethel on March 8



Michele Baerhuk, DOB 6/27/83, pleaded guilty to her first DUI charge, in Springfield on March 5



Chad Liles, DOB 6/20/79, pleaded not guilty to charges of grand larceny and possession of narcotics, in Hartford between March and July of 2013, he stole three Apple Ipads and a bottle of methadone pills while he was a UPS driver. Gene Quick, DOB 1/7/83, pleaded not guilty to a charge of simple assault on a corrections officer in Springfield on January 5



Jennifer Morrison, DOB 5/24/76, pleaded not guilty to charges of forgery, false pretenses or false tokens greater than $900 and petit larceny in Windsor between April and June of 2013



Gary Balaun, DOB 6/27/63, pleaded not guilty to a charge of negligent or careless operation of a motor vehicle in Hartford on January 14



Kate Vernon, DOB 7/13/79, pleaded not guilty to a charge of driving with a suspended license in Hartford on January 26



Windsor County Crime in the News:



Jennifer Bassett has had multiple arrests for heroin possession and possible distribution. Two internet articles are listed below and a google search will yield several more.





Joshua VanHise and Daniel Hamel, from Hartford, were both arrested for domestic abuse after an altercation. Read more about this here

Benjamin Kendall was involved in a string of robberies throughout the Upper Valley.
